In the Red: Amsterdam: Banned postal Art.

* These postcards have got me banned from Facebook AGAIN! Woooooo!!!!  I’ve heard and read great things about Amsterdam. But I wasn’t there for me.   It was my brothers special treat so I shut my mouth and we spent the weekend in the Red Light District. Dive right on in! It’s exactly as you would expect, except the prostitutes are much better looking than I expected. Some looked like nu age Euro ravers with their day glow bra and illuminating pants. You had a good range too. In the morning time they would display older ladies, the ones that don’t work late, some of the younger early morning workers definitely hadn’t slept. Jaws a akimbo, eyes a blaze, jigging about like yesterdays sexy jelly. I started to get a bit surreal with this postcard. Which led to a photoshop session later.    Others looked terribly terribly sad. So sad. trapped in their glass cages, perched on a bar stool watching the world go by through long painless windows. While people

Borrowed Time at Hackney Picture House

The writer and Director Jules Bishop wearing the merchandise! There was an extra special screening of Borrowed Time  on Sunday the 14th of Sept.....    Bringing the film to life…through death as I hosted she a lesson in D.I.Y Taxidermy. This is was a tongue in cheek and  unconventional   approach to traditional taxidermy, showing that you can do it yourself, at home, with little more than the contents of your kitchen cupboards. Mostly salt, sanitary towels and Shake'n'vac “To set the scene in Borrowed Time, Phillip, the cantankerous amateur taxidermist needed fury friends. Taxidermy and animals are his life, he even has a stuffed squirrel strapped to the front of his mobility scooter accompanying him as his mascot. . . Most famous dead mascot there ever was.  But props like that are expensive, especially when you’re on a Mico- budget. Jules is my brother so the producers drafted me to see if I could work with the production crew and get them to

Cara Delevingne PUTS SOMETHING I MADE ON HER HEAD!

Image
This headpiece was recently seen on the holy head of Cara Delevingne. The Kate Moss of a new generation. The shamanic powers of this stonking headpiece seem to be bringing good vibes as you can also see the same piece in the fashion pages of MIXMAG. Yes this creation is certainly doing the rounds.   Usually my artistic practice revolves around making sculpture and performance. Obviously I’ve retired from all that ( see retirement post ), so now I’m making fashionable sculptures for people, performers, anyone who wants excessive accessories to wear. Turning lost trinkets into treasure, death and the discarded can be beautiful! Before... After So all of my fashion things can be found on these sites below! If you have a fashion shoot, event, performance, special occasion or just popping by the shops, please do get in touch and I can definitely kit you out with some kick ass accessories! ABOUT BORROWED TIME

Image
Years ago we I set about making taxidermy props for the massively popular, prize winning, mini micro budget blockbuster BORROWED TIME written and directed by Jules Bishop. Finally, this heart-warmingly hilarious tragedy will be hitting the big screen...    One of the main characters (Phil Davis) is a taxidermy enthusiast so he needed lots of bizarre accessories. I was drafted in to teach the production crew how to stuff squirrels ….with sanitary towels. Hand making little clothes and dressing the creations like you would in pre-school. One of these little critters became Phil's mascot, attached to the front of his mobility scooter. My creations are movie stars!   EVENT:  To co-inside with the release of the highly anticipated BORROWED TIME, I will be teaching you how to make your very own Borrowed Time Squirrel mascot with a master class in D.I.Y Taxidermy.  The preview date is apparently the 13th of September. Will give more venue details
